Markham teams have done well in the YRSL and Durham leagues in the 2010 summer season:

• Markham FC was a new Team this year in the YRSL Over-35 2nd Division. Many of the players were on the previous MSC team that played for many years in the Over-35 Division. The team finished first in this Division.
  
  
• Also in the 2nd Division, the Markham Manthers finished in 6th place in the ten-team Division.
   
• The Markham Oldtimers have been playing as a team for 25 years. This year they are in the final (to be played on Oct 3) of the Durham Oldtimers Over-50 League. 
   
• In the YRSL Women's Elite (Competitive) Division, the Markham Wildcats came in second in a Division of nine teams.
   
• In the YRSL Women's Premier Division, the Markham Strikers came in fourth in a division of eight teams.
