All-Star News 2010 Summer
It was an all MSC final in the Thornhill tournament U9 Division on Aug 21 & 22 as the Hornet All-Stars took on the Lightning Rep team in the final. The Hornets finished the tournament with an impressive 3-1 record. The girls went undefeated on Saturday with wins over the Markham Lightning team, Ajax, and Brampton. The girls faced the tough Lightning team again in the Sunday afternoon final. The Lightning team won the rematch and the tournament by a score of 1-0. Congratulations to both the Hornets and the Lightning for their very good tournament result. A special thanks to Danny Dichio for taking time to sign the girls’ trophies and for being part of the team photo.
