On the weekend of August 8th-9th,  2009,  the team played with great skill and a lot of heart to capture their 1st championship win.  On Saturday, they battled two teams in round robin play.  After many near misses, the boys were finally able to get their scoring drive into full gear.  They were able to score 15 goals in the two games which qualified them for a bye into the semi-finals on Sunday.  After being on such a high from Saturday, the boys arrived to the field ready and prepared to win.  With a decisive 7-0 win in the semi-final, the boys were pumped up going into the final.   After a long, hard fought game by both teams, the boys finished with a 2-0 victory to claim the big win against Peterborough.

Congrats to all parents and players!  Everyone contributed to the team in a special way.
