Markham Strikers Conquer Kingston - May 29-30

The Markham Strikers, led by coach Louie Voltsinis, travelled to Kingston to play in their annual tournament on May 29 - May 30, 2010.  With so many new faces added to this year's roster, the tournament was a great tune up for the season ahead. 

During the group stage on Saturday, the ladies captured top spot winning all three of their matches securing a berth in the Quarter Finals Sunday.  With every game the ladies got better and better and eventually captured the tournament championship that featured 12 teams from across Ontario. Tournamant MVP went to Lisa Young.
