Markham Dominates U21 League
On a sunny Sunday, July 25 at Centennial Park, the MSC U21 Women's team continued their domination of the Provincial U21 Women's league with a 7 - 0 win over S.S.M. Croatia. In the picture above, Markham's Olivia Lukasewich scored a nice goal from close in. The team is unbeaten in league play this season with 10 wins and 2 ties. They play their final game of the season on Tuesday against Glen Shields Sun Devils. The players will soon be going back to their University and College teams in the US and Canada.

The MSC U21 Women's team has a lot to be proud of. As a U18 team, they were near the top of the Ontario Youth Soccer League. Virtually all of the players went on to University scholarships in the US and Canada. A number of them are captains of their University teams. In their second season in the Ontario Women's Soccer League U21 Division, they have had a very successful season with 10 wins, 2 ties and no losses in league play. Two of the players are members of National Teams for other countries where they have dual citizenship and a number of them are part of the Canadian National team program.
